About the bursary
The Bradley Mark Johnston Working Student Bursary is designed to encourage advancement in education for individuals who are currently working full-time in the horse industry, and specifically in the discipline of Eventing.
Working students are part of the backbone of many Eventing operations, providing essential support in horse care, barn management, and daily training. This bursary is intended to help an aspiring working student develop and advance their education in horsemanship and equestrian skills by providing access to resources such as training, clinics, workshops and similar educational opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.
The recipient of the 2025 Bradley Mark Johnston Working Student Bursary will be awarded $1,000 to support them in furthering their education as a member of Ontario’s Eventing community.

The Foundation has previously supported scholarships to animation colleges and is now focusing on providing educational opportunities to members of Ontario’s Eventing community.
