Whether you're new to Eventing or looking to build confidence at the EV60–EV90 levels, the OEA’s Rider Development Days offer a fun, affordable and supportive way to build your skills. Ride at top EC-sanctioned venues, work with professional, licensed Eventing coaches and develop your skills in a non-competitive environment.

This program, which offers subsidized and organized schooling in small groups based on horse and rider’s experience, is designed to safely introduce new riders to Eventing and help lower-level OEA members build skills and confidence in a welcoming setting.

It welcomes riders from other disciplines, Eventers riding at EV60-EV90 levels, those with green horses or those working on new equine partnerships, safely introducing them to the sport and to Ontario’s premier Eventing venues.

All OEA Rider Development Days will offer cross country schooling on courses starting at the EV60 level and, depending on the venue, may also include opportunities for dressage and stadium jumping schooling.

The OEA has added three Rider Development Days to the schedule for 2025:

This is a great way to experience Eventing for the first time, to build confidence, and to meet riders from Ontario’s Eventing community. We hope to see you on the XC courses this summer!
