OEA AGM, Banquet and Awards Gala November 16th

2:30 –3:00pm:

Barn Fire Prevention

The OEA would like to thank Sarah Scott from System Fencing for introducing Fire Fighter Riley McGilloway of Halton Hills Fire Services, to the OEA. Fire Fighter McGilloway, who is also a horseman, will be facilitating our Preventing Barn Fires information session at 2:30pm on Saturday. Riley is pictured here with “Fork”. Fork was rescued from a recent barn fire by Fire Fighter McGilloway. Thanks to his owner and Riley, Fork has made a full recovery.

EC, OE & OEA – Understanding your Organizations (with Pam Coburn and Pat Frewen-Lord)

Get to know these three organizations (and try to remember the acronyms!) with a discussion on the various roles each play in our equestrian community.

4:30 – 5:00pm:

YR/U25 PRESENTATION (presented by the OEA YR/U25 Committee)

5:30pm:

Cocktails, Banquet Reception/ Check in opens

6:00pm:

OEA AGM – followed by breed awards, Paramount Adult Amateur Series awards.

The Annual General Meeting of the members of the Ontario Eventing Association “OEA” will be held for the following purposes:

  1. To approve the Minutes of the last meeting of the members held on November 17, 2018;

  2. To receive the report of the Board of Directors on the affairs of the OEA for the past year and the financial statements of the OEA for the financial year ended October 31, 2019;

  3. To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting;

  4. To elect Directors of the OEA to fill vacancies;

  5. Proxies will be accepted only using an approved Proxy Ballot. It must be filled out properly, signed, and submitted according to the instructions on the Proxy. Proxy Ballot and AGM Materials can be found here
