Sarah Roney
Tuesday, March 17, 2026
Webinar hosted on ZOOM
7:30-8:30 Presentation
8:30-9:00 Q&A
All OEA members are invited to join us for a webinar with Sarah Roney, a registered dietician and founder of Believe Nutrition, helping equestrians (and non-equestrians) across Ontario use practical, evidence-based nutrition to support health, performance, recovery, and long days at the barn. She has competed at the 3* level in Eventing with her mare, Unbelievable, and is a Competition Coach Specialist in Eventing, giving her a unique understanding of the physical and mental demands of the sport. Sarah balances virtual nutrition counselling, hospital work, equestrian coaching and competition, and parenting two young daughters. She credits a foundation of good nutrition and sustainable habits with allowing her to show up with energy, focus, and resilience—both in and out of the saddle.
This webinar covers practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies designed specifically for event riders and the demands of training, competition, and long days at the barn.
We will discuss:
· What to eat to support training, competition, and recovery.
· Protein and carbohydrate needs for performance, muscle repair, and staying healthy.
· Hydration, electrolytes, and sweat losses, especially during travel and show days.
· Easy meal and snack ideas that work with busy barn schedules.
· A whole-foods, non-diet approach to improving body composition and energy.
Whether you’re a junior, adult amateur, seasoned Eventer, or a coach, you’ll leave with realistic, usable tools to feel stronger, recover better, and ride your best—without overcomplicating nutrition.
Registration. To register please visit: https://forms.office.com/r/3xJQ6WL0e2 by midnight on Monday, March 16. A Zoom link will be sent to all who have registered.
