U25 Year-End Team Challenge – October 4, 2026
The OEA is organizing a U25 Year-End Team Challenge for all riders under the age of 25 on Sunday, October 4, 2026. This effort will celebrate and highlight our young riders in Ontario who choose to register a team. Teams of 3 or 4 riders can be assembled across divisions and are a great way to give competitors a chance to meet other young riders and experience what it’s like to ride as part of a team.
All riders under the age of 25 who are entered in Grandview’s Fall Horse Trials are invited to participate.
HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible for the Team Challenge, riders must be under the age of 25 as of Jan. 1, 2026, and must be a member of the OEA or another Provincial Horse Trial Association in 2026.
Teams must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 horse/rider combinations.
Teams can include riders from all divisions (EV75-EV115).
If you don’t have a team but want to participate that’s no problem -- we’ll create a team or add you to an existing team of 3 riders.
All teams and any rider who would like to be added to a team, must complete and submit the attached entry form by Thursday, October 1 at 8pm.
If you submit a team, don’t forget to give it a fun name!
HOW IT WORKS
Teams will be posted on Friday October 2.
Any team member who is eliminated will incur a penalty of 100.
Teams of 4 will have the highest final score dropped.
The top five teams (lowest total scores) will receive ribbons.
